  • The Blank Canvas
All EXTRA Rooms are delivered to you unfurnished, however curtain tracks are provided for you to easily hang curtains for the window and door areas.  This essentially becomes your blank canvas, for you to transform using your own furniture and fittings creating your EXTRA Room.  The 3.6m x 2.4m size of our EXTRA Rooms allow for ample space to ensure the room is usable for a variety of uses.  Below are some examples to get you thinking.

  • Sleepout
A sleepout is one of the most popular uses for an EXTRA Room.  Whether you are expanding to accomodate a grown teenager, a boarder, a seasonal worker or just some relatives who have overstayed their welcome!  A bed can easily fit the width of an EXTRA Room providing space for a desk, shelving, drawers, or a freestanding wardrobe.

  • Office
If you work from home, or require a quieter place for working, then the EXTRA Room is the perfect solution. Quiet and comfortable - your productivity is bound to increase!

  • Home Gym
Set your weight machine up in one corner and your swiss ball in the other!  Drag in your spare TV and spend some time getting fit with those currently unused workout tapes (results vary by individual and require dietary suppliments and regular exercise).

  • Workshop / Hobby Room
Tired of having to pack your equipment away all the time?  Why not have a dedicated room?

With power available, its easy to utilise the EXTRA Room as a workshop or hobby room.  With a room dedicated to a single purpose, you can focus your time on your hobby and simply shut the door when you are finished for the day.  Your equipment and projects will be safe and you won't need to waste time packing up and setting up all the time.

 

  • Two Clever Designs
We know our customers all have different needs, and that sections come in different shapes and sizes.  So we've come up with two practical designs that offer you just the right fit.  Both still provide the same floor space, but have some very handy differences.

'PORTRAIT'

With a hinged door opening onto a small verandah, and window in the long wall, our 'portrait' option is ideal for a sleepout.  

 

'LANDSCAPE'

Our 'landscape' option is well suited for an office space or hobby room.  With a sliding door in the long wall, and a window in the short wall, it is surprisingly roomy.
